Waterway Algae
Posted on May 20th, 2015

The HOA is aware of recent algae blooms on waterways within Lakemoor.  Treatment has been done twice in the past several weeks.  Residents should start to see the algae patches brown, break up, and start to drop.  A waiting period will commence before additional treatments will be applied however the issue is under monitoring by the maintenance provider.  Thank you for your patience through this process.

At some future point in time, can the HOA post information about the water treatment approach? I am no expert, but it's my understanding that algae growth is a symptom of other water system problems. I'm also interested in making sure our HOA contractors are not using harmful chemicals to restore the pleasing appearance of our waterways. Many thanks, David

The Waterway Committee head plans to work on long term management plans for the HOA. More information will be forthcoming as received. Thank you.
